Ben Ansell

Ben Ansell is a Ph.D. candidate in Government at Harvard University. His work focuses on the interaction between skill provision and international economic forces and the shaping of political preferences over human capital and trade policy. Previous papers have examined how political institutions interact with skill-biased technological change, and the influence of electoral frameworks on the provision of social insurance. He has a Masters in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and was the recipient of a British Academy fellowship. He is presently a visiting scholar at the Centre for Economic Performance in the London School of Economics and Political Science.
