Joel Horwich

Joel Horwich is a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology and Social Policy at Harvard University. She is currently completing a paper on the recent history of the education policy agenda in Massachusetts, a project that reflects her interests in education politics and policy and the policymaking process itself. Within sociology, her areas of focus include political sociology, cultural sociology, and the sociology of knowledge. Other policy interests include housing and health care. Joel graduated from Carleton College and is the recipient of a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.
